A true blend of the essence of the Great Basin:  Sagebrush, Juniper and Pinion Pine....all in one salve!  Sagebrush (Big Sage) has histoically been used as a medicine internally for its bitter qualities and protection against bacteria and fungi on skin.  
Pinion Pine salve is an old recipe that acts like a sealer for small cuts and scrapes all while keeping the bacteria out.  Just as the tree does with its sap!
Juniper berries add an anti-inflammatory action.
Please note:  In high doses sagebrush is toxic to the liver and kidneys.  Although there is not a large amount of sagebrush in this recipe, repeated use should be avoided by those with chronic liver and kidney disease.
Ingredients:  Juniper, sagebrush and pinion pine pitch infused avo, tallow and beeswax
